Effective Engineering
Some years ago a young Sunday School friend asked, "How can you be an engineer and a Christian Scientist too?" His earnestness startled me. He was clearly feeling sorry for anyone who had managed to get himself into such a predicament!
The answer is easy.
But first let me tell you the sequel to his question. Dick has since served in Vietnam, finished his undergraduate studies, married, and is now thinking about law school. I'm just waiting for the day he passes his bar exams so I can ask him, "How can you be a lawyer and a Christian Scientist too?" Political and legal problems in many countries would seem to raise this question.
