The Answer to Smoking

Some work in my home had to be carried out. During the discussion the workman produced cigarettes and matches. "Do you mind if I smoke?" was his considerate query.

I hesitated in reply, "Well, no one smokes here." Surprisingly, the man appeared relieved.

Replacing the cigarettes and matches, he exclaimed emphatically, "Oh! But I don't want to smoke."
