Noah's Ark—the Spiritual View

In the first chapter of Genesis we read that God gave man dominion over every living thing. But the man described here is the man made in the image and likeness of God. This man is not the species Homo sapiens, nor does God look like him. God is infinite Mind, Spirit, Soul; and man, God's image, is idea, reflection, expression.

We do not look to man to find out what God is like, but rather to God to find out what man is like. Nor should we look to nature to find out what it is that man has dominion over, but rather to Spirit, Soul, to discern what the nature of His creation is.

The Bible tells us that Noah built the ark under God's direction; God was displeased with man, and He would destroy all but Noah and those he would take with him on the ark. Was God displeased with His own image or with the man of the Adam-dream, made of the dust of the ground?
