The Christ Is There Too
Escape from problems. How we long for this! How comforted we are if we can think of ourselves as above turmoil and strife, above uncertainties, perplexities, complexities, looking down on personal antagonisms, conflicts, resistance, inaction, safe in the truth of God and man, untouched by mortal error! Not only can we think of ourselves so; we can be so. God has given us what we need to win this freedom.
The only question we need to ask ourselves is, "Are we using what God has given us? Are we really using Christian Science?"
We use this Science when we accept and apply the truths it reveals. We fail to use it when we reject or ignore some of its truths. The truth of man, for example, includes the fact, given by Mary Baker Eddy in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, that "man is idea, the image, of Love; he is not physique." Science and Health, p. 475; God is infinite Mind, and man exists as idea, in Mind. And as the Bible declares, "God is love," I John 4:8; and man is made in God's image, "in the image of God created he him." Gen. 1:27;
