Childlike Trust: Prelude to Healing
Does Christian Science heal? If so, can I through the study and application of its teachings heal myself and others? Over the years many have pondered these questions and have found that they can be answered in the affirmative.
We need a childlike trust in God, an absolute acceptance that He is constantly caring for us and that we are really His perfect children, in spite of the contradictory evidence of the material senses. Then we will be able to experience the illimitable wealth of good that God in maintaining His perfect creation is constantly pouring out.
Mrs. Eddy writes: "Willingness to become as a little child and to leave the old for the new, renders thought receptive of the advanced idea. Gladness to leave the false landmarks and joy to see them disappear,— this disposition helps to precipitate the ultimate harmony." Science and Health, pp. 323, 324;
