Scientific Christianity

Jesus' lifework consistently illustrates that with God, who is Spirit and the primal Principle of being, all things are possible, and that physical law is subordinate to spiritual law. Jesus cultivated and established to perfection his conscious oneness with God. This unity with the Father gave him power to perform his mighty proofs of dominion over sickness and sin.

Christ Jesus declared, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." Matt. 24:35; The understanding of God and of man's perfect sonship with Him that Jesus imparted will not pass away. On the other hand, because all real existence is the expression of Spirit, God, who is All-in-all, the entire world, materially conceived of, is actually nothing more than a constant coming and going of illusory beliefs of life, substance, and intelligence in matter, and these material beliefs will sooner or later come to an end. Whatever we may acquire in the way of material goods and material knowledge will someday have to be left behind.

But we will retain the understanding that we have gained of God and of His perfect, harmonious creation, and the peaceful sense of certainty arising from it. And we will retain all the eternal, satisfying spiritual qualities—spiritual substance—we have learned to reflect from God.
