YOU ARE ON WATCH

In a silent moment listening,
patient tears embracing,
His steady, voiceless answer
came
to years of quiet asking,

"Where do I fit
in Your great plan,
dear Father?"

You are on watch,
the message came
with bristling clarity,
as I remembered growing strong
through vigils on the sea.

I brush my service blues with joy,
awaiting squad inspection,
and take my post
in His command,
to represent His wisdom.
