My first published testimony appeared in the Christian Science Sentinel, May 25, 1946, and it came about in this way. I had related my healing to an active Christian Scientist, Who said, "And, of course, you have contributed your testimony for publication in one of our periodicals!" "Oh, no," I replied. "I have never written anything for publication. I'm not qualified along that line." Quickly came the response, "But, you know, your healing is not complete unless you have shared it with the world. Maybe somebody on a distant continent is tussling with a problem like yours. Think how your healing would encourage him!"

I did send the testimony in. The Editors saw fit to publish it. It did go out into the world. There were letters from people who were inspired. I myself was again healed, this time of the belief that I couldn't write.

Now, more healings that may prove helpful to someone. About four years ago I was suddenly stricken with severe pain from head to toe. I was practically immobile. My arms hung useless. I could shuffle along a little, but it was impossible to lift my feet, to bend my body, or to use my hands.
