Life Doesn't Have an Ending
A few years ago I saw a billboard advertising paintings in a gallery. It said: "Original is forever." I thought, "How true!" I was not thinking of paintings, however, but of God's original creation as I had read of it in the first chapter of Genesis.
In this Bible chapter I had learned of the creation of man in the image and likeness of God, the expression of eternal Life. I thought of what Mrs. Eddy writes: "Life is divine Principle, Mind, Soul, Spirit. Life is without beginning and without end. Eternity, not time, expresses the thought of Life, and time is no part of eternity." Science and Health, p. 468;
When we understand man to be God's reflection, we can identify with eternal Life, and so begin to realize that this is the only real life we've ever known or ever will know. It is essential to understand that man exists in God, Life, forever, throughout all eternity.
