Do You Ever Count Your Blessings?
Do you Know what blessings are? Well, they are the good that God gives us all the time, or as the dictionary says, "Divine favors." That's Why Christ Jesus began each Beatitude with "Blessed." Matt. 5:3–12;
If you have a problem, and are not grateful, maybe you should remember what Mary Baker Eddy says: "put the finger on the lips and remember our blessings." Science and Health, p.3.
If you're feeling sad or lonely or sick, grumpy and down in the dumps, you could climb right out of there with a ladder of blessings. Each time you thank God for a blessing you would have a new rung on your ladder. The more the blessings, the higher the ladder. And the ladder would take you out of the dumps. Every day we should remember to be grateful for the good God sends us.
All good comes from God.
