Zach opened the front door and dropped his books in the hallway while he took off his coat. What a day! All the way home he'd been thinking about how much he really hated school.
"Did you have a good day, Zach?" His mother always asked him that, and usually he could say Yes. He liked to tell her about the things that had happened in his class. Good things, funny things. But lately it had been very different.
"Mr. Wheeler was in a mean mood again. He just yelled all day."
