Healing Thoughts
Over one hundred years ago, Mary Baker Eddy made a revolutionary discovery. She revealed the tremendous scientific fact that Godlike thoughts are healing thoughts—a fact that is destined to destroy the age–old material beliefs concerning the cause and cure of disease.
These beliefs are deeply entrenched in human thought because matter and its diseased conditions seem so real, and because anything that would challenge their reality seems visionary and impractical.
But Mrs. Eddy courageously threw down the gauntlet to all forms of materialism. She proved by actual demonstration that matter—solid and formidable though it may seem—is really an illusion, the subjective state of human thought. Applying this discovery to the human body and its ills, she proved that this body is not the reality of man but a mortally mental phenomenon—and that sickness is nothing but the externalized evidence of fearful, ignorant, or sinful thinking.
