The Bible says (Mal. 3:10), "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." As my husband and I have brought our thinking into line with the divine Mind through a consistent effort to express more faith, trust, humility, generosity, and have striven to prove our understanding of Christian Science, we have been greatly blessed.

Whenever we needed to find a place to live we knew that by looking for a perfect sense of home in consciousness and realizing that we already possess it, by reflection of the divine nature, we were able to buy houses that more than satisfied our needs and expectations. We have experienced consistent growth in supply by seeing that the paycheck and the dollar are not the source of it, but that God supplies all we need. Challenging and satisfying employment for my husband has opened up when we have seen that man is always in God's employ. With our two children we have had healings of burns, effects of bicycle accidents, earache, and an undiagnosed illness of a very frightening nature.

Another blessing I count as very rich is that my husband and I are able to help each other metaphysically when a need arises. Last year we had such an experience. We were vacationing at a lake resort and one day decided to take our son fishing at a nearby river. We had to climb down large rocks to get to the grassy banks. In searching for a deep, quiet pool in which to fish, we had to cross a log over a small stream. My foot hit a soft spot in the log, and I fell sideways, twisting my ankle severely. There was a sharp pain, and for a moment I began to lose consciousness. My husband was at my side immediately, declaring aloud the truth of my unity with God and my consequent immunity from accident. He helped extricate my foot from under me. He sat on the ground stating that we would meet this problem right there. The children, at our request, had gone on with their uncle.
