"It never happened!"

When an accident happens, the alert Christian Scientist immediately denies the evidence of it. He may exclaim audibly or silently, "It never happened!"

To many it may seem that he is taking an extreme and impractical position to make this declaration while facing such contradictory evidence. But there is a good foundation in spiritual truth for the statement that discord is unreal and devoid of power.

Throwing clear light on the teachings and works of Christ Jesus, Christian Science reveals the perfect and spiritual nature of the real man in God's image and likeness. This man, the actual identity of all of us, lives in a spiritual and entirely safe, harmonious universe. He is supremely governed by an altogether powerful, loving, and good God, who allows no evil or discord, no injury or death, in His kingdom.
