When my husband and I moved to a large metropolitan city, we decided to attend a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. We placed our small daughter in the nursery and began to attend church services regularly.

My husband, who was already a member of The Mother Church, and had been a Sunday School student since childhood, soon joined the church, and I joined shortly thereafter. Since then we have had many evidences of progress and healing.

Some time later the following healing took place. A painful condition developed in my body. There was no position that was comfortable. A Christian Science practitioner was called. During the next two weeks, in which I suffered a great deal, I talked with the practitioner daily and read from the Bible, and from Science and Health and the other writings by Mrs. Eddy, and listened to recordings of her writings and Christian Science hymns. These were of great comfort to me.
