The Two Heads
One day as I took my seat in a bus, I glanced up. There in the driver's mirror, to my surprise, I saw myself with two heads—one quite pleasant to look at, the other extremely ugly. Of course, I was not disturbed by this strange sight, caused only by some distortion in the mirror.
I looked at the two heads in the mirror for a moment, then moved my position a little. My viewpoint having changed, both heads disappeared.
Neither the pleasant one nor the ugly one had really been me or had been real for one moment. I pondered this rather amusing incident and learned a lesson in Christian Science.
