The Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ (II Thess. 3:5)

"Of Christ" is the literal translation of the Greek. The Twentieth Century New Testament has, "May the Lord bring you to the love of God, and to the patience of the Christ." "Hearts" is a Hebraism for the whole inner life of thought, emotion, and will.
