"Divine Science, the Word of God, saith to the darkness upon the face of error, 'God is All-in-all,' and the light of ever-present Love illumines the universe" (Science and Health, p. 503). This inspiring statement of Mrs. Eddy's in the Christian Science textbook has been demonstrated in my experience many times.

I first began to read Science and Health not because I was looking for physical healing but because, from the little I had heard of Christian Science, I thought that it must be the truth.

One evening, feeling very oppressed by a situation involving lack and discord in a relationship, I picked up the textbook. I have no remembrance of what I read, but I had a glimpse of God's all-harmonious creation, which could not be interrupted by thoughts of resentment. The situation almost immediately resolved itself, and I found myself praying for weeks to be healed of all resentment in everything.
