Shari and Dick were Kurt's young neighbors across the street. With a small child to care for, and another on the way, they were having to cope with many new, challenging situations. Kurt knew they were occasional churchgoers and considered themselves religiously inclined. He wondered if they had thought of healing in connection with religion.
So one day, when they were chatting, he asked them. "What do you make of spiritual healing?"
Shari groped. "Make of it?"
