Full of gratitude, I look back on the thirty-nine years I have known and applied Christian Science.
At one time I suffered from intestinal tuberculosis. Although I regularly attended the Sunday services and Wednesday testimony meetings and also read the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, I was unable to find a conclusive healing.
My dear husband was healed of severe mental anguish and of accompanying stomach complaint that was causing anxiety. He had become acquainted with Christian Science through me and from the beginning was 100 percent enthusiastic. After his first visit with a Christian Science practitioner he found immediate healing. The first time we attended a Church of Christ, Scientist, together, my husband, as though by invisible forces, was pulled to his feet and led to give his first testimony of gratitude, which was followed in the ensuing years by many testimonies of healings and experiences.
