Reason for Our Hope

Do Christian Scientists read the Bible? Do they acknowledge that Jesus is the Saviour of humanity? What is their relationship with their fellowmen?

The Apostle Peter wrote, "Be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear." ^{Pet. 3:15;}

The reason for the hope within every Christian Scientist is epitomized in the six religious tenets set forth in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, and the student of Christian Science who is deeply acquainted with these brief statements will always be prepared to answer such inquiries with winning conviction.
