A Hookup to Divine Mind

A computer expert I know is working on an ingenious device. It enables one business to buy from another and solves the attendant mathematical problems. It deducts the purchasing price from the company's balance and tells the new balance. The operator has only to place an ordinary telephone receiver inside the portable device, dial the computer, depress the right code keys, to have proper answers given by a computer-programmed, taped human voice.

In considering this wonder of modern technology, I thought how marvelous it would be to have something like this to connect us to God, divine Mind! We could ask the one Mind to help solve our problems.

Of course, as I soon realized, Christian Science already makes available the power to receive reliable answers. One may take advantage of a hookup, established before the world began, to an omniscient and all-loving divine Mind. Since the real, spiritual man is the reflection of this Mind, the more both men and women understand Mind, listen to it, and yield to it, the more they will find this force transforming their thought and character, thereby controlling every aspect of their daily experience. The Bible tells us, "He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he."^{Prov. 16:20;}
