My expression of gratitude for the Christian Science movement is long overdue. For many years Science has solved all problems for me when I have correctly applied it. In earlier years these were mainly human relationship problems and minor physical ailments.

Christian Science was applied with success in solving my husband's business problems, and while he was not a church member, he relied on it for physical healing. At one time he had what he thought was a stomach ulcer. After he called a Christian Science practitioner and relied entirely on God, he was healed very quickly, much to his own amazement.

Christian Science class instruction was a highlight in my experience, and the study it entails has been a great joy, and healings have been accomplished. A stubborn condition of eczema recurred many times. When I applied for class instruction and was accepted, the symptoms were especially annoying. While doing some special studying in preparation for class, I realized that irritation and impatience were not qualities belonging to God's idea and I could only express patience and calmness. Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures (p. 4), "What we most need is the prayer of fervent desire for growth in grace, expressed in patience, meekness, love, and good deeds." In a few days the eczema disappeared, and it has never returned.
