A dear friend told me about Christian Science over forty years ago. Soon I attended my first service in a Church of Christ, Scientist. I entered the church ill and burdened with care but came out rejoicing, having learned of a God who is Love.

With the help of this friend I began an earnest study of this religion and day by day gained greater insight into its teachings. My first healing was that of sore and aching feet and limbs that had troubled me a long time. How happy I was to be able to wear regular shoes again!

Although my husband did not share my interest in Christian Science, he agreed to allow our four children to attend the Christian Science Sunday School. Third degree burns, scarlet fever, cuts, lye and ivy poisoning, were some of the ills overcome with the help of a Christian Science practitioner. The good that came as a result of learning to look to God as the source of our supply was a wonderful revelation.
