Universal Christmas

The true Christmas message is the story of God's merciful compassion, His perfect nature, His universal, all-inclusive, impartial, all-embracing love, as well as His unfailing wisdom, His faultless, patient understanding.

Christian Scientists love to tell this story through testimony and praise, through personal contacts, lectures, church services, periodicals.

I have good reason to tell this story myself. As a child I was perpetually in the doghouse. My older brother, the fair-haired child, had a fine scholastic record. I drew pictures, explored woods and fields, wrote verses, skated, skated, skated—none of which enhanced my report card.
