The Choice Is Yours

One cannot heal oneself or others spiritually from the basis of material thinking. To prove what is real and powerful, one must start from the premise of the allness and perfection of the one Mind, God, and determine what it is God knows. Because the all-wise, all-knowing Mind is the only Mind there is, what God knows constitutes true knowledge. God knows only good, and applying this true knowledge brings healing.

We should be the master of our thoughts. We need never be the victim of them. We have a choice. "Everything is as real as you make it," states Mrs. Eddy, "and no more so." Unity of Good, p. 8; There are times when we all have felt overwhelmed by discouraging, fearful, or sick thoughts. But even at such difficult moments, true thoughts, constructive thoughts, strong thoughts, healthy thoughts, are there to rescue us.

These good thoughts are "God with us," angel visitants that can immediately sap the strength of destructive thought forces and deprive them of their seeming hold on us. Turning our thought to God lets God in, so to speak, and realizing the omnipotence of the divine All-presence acts as an alterative, a law of extinction to fear, doubt, and depression.
