Christian Science had been unknown to me before it came to my relief after I had been experiencing great pain and suffering that nothing in the medical field was able to relieve, much less cure. I would like to tell of this instantaneous healing I experienced many years ago.

After an early illness I was suffering from what the doctors called "dry joints" in my knees, which they predicted would grow more and more stiff as time went on.

I was told to go to a Christian Science practitioner and ask for a treatment. At that time I was in great distress whenever I went downstairs. I went to the practitioner and told her of my misery. She handed me the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and told me to read it while she gave me a treatment through prayer.
