I have been a member of The Mother Church for forty years. If I were to list all my daily appeals to the divine presence and omnipotence in the smallest acts of my life as well as in the greatest, and recount all the benefits I have obtained, I would need to write several testimonies.

Following my participation in the World War of 1914-1918, and after the severe retreat from Serbia and other events, I was evacuated in 1918 to a hospital in Morocco in a skeletonlike condition diagnosed as tuberculosis of the lungs and bones. I was put in a plaster cast from chest to feet for two years.

I became acquainted with Christian Science, through which I received a healing that astonished those around me. That was fifty-two years ago. The healing, which was related in my testimony published in the March 8, 1924, issue of the Sentinel, has been complete and permanent.
