I have often been impressed by testimonies of supply. But it wasn't until recently that I had an experience of my own demonstrating for me how "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 494).

Recently I was asked to donate funds to an organization very near and dear to me. A certain sum suddenly came to mind. It was a somewhat large amount for me to handle at the time, I thought, and I did not think that I could afford it. However, I prayed right then and there to know that as this organization was God's own right activity I could not be hurt by making the donation—financially or otherwise. The Bible tells us that "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above" (James 1:17). These words completed my prayers, and I quickly wrote out a check for the amount I had previously considered.

A few weeks later I was visiting with my grandfather, for whom I had done some work the previous summer. I had forgotten about the work, and he about paying me, until that moment. He reached into his wallet and handed me some money. The amount was the very sum I had sent to the organization about a month earlier. I silently shouted praise to God for this wonderful proof of His boundless supply and unceasing love for all His children.
