Finding the Right Job
Are you looking for a job? If it seems that there is no place where your particular background, talents, and experience can be used, take heart! Christian Science can show you the answer. God abundantly provides for everyone.
A Christian Scientist who had just completed her graduate work began job-hunting in a large eastern city. In spite of her excellent qualifications, there didn't seem to be a place for her. Several weeks of fruitless searching brought her only a deepening sense of discouragement. At last, feeling that she had exhausted every avenue, the student decided to call on a Christian Science practitioner.
The practitioner asked the young woman to visualize a winding mountain road on which a long line of cars coming from both directions had come to a standstill. Why? Because their progress was blocked by several large boulders that had fallen across the road. What would happen when the boulders were removed? The flow of traffic would quickly resume.
