I am grateful to God for bringing me to this wonderful religion, which heals any problem when all the rules are obeyed.

My first healing was that of constipation, from which I had suffered from babyhood. I had been taking medicine as long as I can remember. I read in a Sentinel that God is the source of all action and that in His spiritual creation everything moves in accord with harmony. I thought I would prove this and refrained from taking medicine. I have not had a dose of any kind of laxative since.

In our home through the study of Christian Science, and sometimes with the aid of Christian Science practitioners, we have had healings of epilepsy, stuttering, partial deafness, double fracture of the jawbone, a dislocated ankle, giddy turns, a broken wrist, and hives. At one time a goods lift fell on one of my fingers about three thirty in the afternoon. The next morning at seven o'clock I showed it to a gentleman and asked him how long ago he thought it had been since it had been hurt. He said three weeks. There was just a thin scar, which disappeared shortly afterward.
