Those of us who have attended a Christian Science Sunday School are grateful for the loving teachings we have received from the consecrated teachers. Many of my healings were due to the firm foundation established for me through attending Sunday School. There I was taught to rely on God for my every need and learned of God's goodness, His love for me, and my inviolable unity with Him.

I am engaged in the writing of methods and engineering procedures, and also in estimating and making mathematical computations. This type of work requires exacting visual attention. I began to experience difficulty in seeing. Being a student of Christian Science, I knew I could not accept this belief of imperfection. In Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy writes (p. 2), "God is 'the same yesterday, and to-day, and forever.'" I reasoned from this that man made in God's image and likeness could not change from his divine perfection.

Vision for a time was perfect, but then there were periods of difficulty when it became erratic. After about a year of this pendulum type of experience it became almost impossible for me to distinguish certain figures. It did not seem right to go on in this manner, as I was not doing my job as I should.
