Through the healing of an older brother in Christian Science I was led to investigate this religion. In a very short time I knew I had found the right way. My questions were answered in a reasonable, logical manner, which illumined every phase of my thinking and brought about an unsought physical healing of an internal condition I had been told could not be healed except by an operation. This was about fifty years ago, and today I am in excellent health. I did not submit to the operation.

I am most grateful for the healings and protection I have had in raising two sons. With but one exception they have been free from all so-called childhood diseases. My brother mentioned above was healed of a very serious lung condition, and more recently I have been healed of arthritis. Many other problems have been solved, one of which I would like to tell about.

During the depression years a son, who with his wife and infant daughter was living in a remote part of Oregon, had written me that he was desperately in need of employment. He asked me to pray for him in Christian Science. I agreed to do the work and sent him citations to study from the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I also wrote him almost daily.
