As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness (Ps. 17:15)
In Hebrew, the word here literally rendered "face" often means "presence" or "favor." In idiomatic usage, "thy face" often implies "thyself' or "thee."
Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth, that the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment? (Job 20:4, 5)
