Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." I would like to tell of one experience I had when the above statement proved so helpful.

For some years I had a physical problem that made being on my feet rather difficult, and so I spent most of my days resting. In 1963, my mother passed on suddenly and unexpectedly. There was no one to care for my father and me and our large house, so with divine Love as my prop I took over. I just had to trust in God for my strength and guidance, as I had never been taught to do a thing in the home.

Shortly after this my father became ill. He was strongly opposed to Christian Science and what he thought it stood for. So until he passed on three and one half years later, he was under the care of a doctor and could never be left. During this time many difficulties were overcome, such as lack of help in the home, my father's difficult disposition, and loss of rest through nursing my father, sometimes day and night for three or four nights at a time.
