Christian Science has been our only physician for over thirty years.
As a young girl, I had always yearned for a better understanding of God, who would comfort and guide me. After a long illness I was told I had no chance of being restored to normal health. I had had two major operations. The first operation was the removal of a growth. That was not successful, so I was advised to have another operation. I was no better but grew worse. I arranged to have the family cared for by my mother-in-law and husband.
When everything seemed dark, a dear friend of the family introduced Christian Science to me. I shall never forget how a talk with her lifted my thought. She told me I was not a mortal but the blessed child of God; therefore, in reality, I had no past record of suffering. As a result of this, in two weeks I was able to manage the housekeeping on my own.
