DO YOU THIRST?

Then today—now—
you are bid
draw water with joy
"out of the wells of salvation."
Drink deep!
Forget that the waters of Marah
were bitter.
Leave them forever behind
with your griefs,
disappointments, forebodings.

Today is yours
with its sweet living water.
Drink deep today!
And go on rejoicing
unafraid!
There will always be wells
with the water of life
for your drawing.
