The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on January 4, 1970.

Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped (Ex. 34:8)

Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown make the comment that "in the East, people bow the head to royalty, and are silent when it passes by, while in the West, they take off their hats and shout."
