The Scream of a Siren
How many times a day the city dweller hears the scream of a siren piercing the air either close at hand or in the distance! It has an eerie sound, yet because of its frequency most people hardly notice the ugly noise, or perhaps they just wonder what calamity has taken place and then drop the matter. But to the student of Christian Science, this unlovely warning should be a call to mental action, for a siren is mortal mind's way of screaming to the world, "See what I can do! I am a power."
Sometimes one can identify the type of error that is being claimed by seeing the vehicle that bears the siren, but in any case the liar's lie can be quickly put into any one of these classifications: fire, accident, or lawlessness.
