I am very grateful to God for the protection and care my family and I have had through reliance upon Christian Science.
The healing I wish to relate occurred a few years ago when I fractured my wrist and injured some fingers. Although the pain was intense, I was able to still this by knowing that "under divine Providence there can be no accidents, since there is no room for imperfection in perfection" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 424). I also declared and prayed to understand more fully that man is unfallen, whole, and free, now and forever. I was quickly free from pain, although the wrist and hand were useless.
The Christian Science practitioner whom I called for treatment helped me greatly to see my true selfhood and to know that man's spiritual indestructible nature is the same after as before a bone is broken. In about two weeks, although the practitioner and I knew the healing was complete, the material evidence was the same.
