Work from the Right Standpoint!

"You are already in the kingdom of heaven—right now!"

These words awakened the writer in a time of trial to the right way to solve his problem in Christian Science. So often the temptation is to struggle with the problem as though it were real. What we need is a radical change of approach.

In Christian Science the method of healing is to know the truth, not just battle with error or tinker with it. We do not start from the premise of a supposedly real material life or real discord and then try to improve it. We start from the premise of perfect God, perfect man, perfect universe. We do not start with a sick patient. We start with man as God made him. We do not start with a sick situation. We start with the perfection of God's creation and think from this basis. We do not look at the material appearances. We see the spiritual reality. This dispels discord.
