Purifying Thought Daily
First Corinthians tells us, "Glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." I Cor. 6:20;
Many Christian Scientists in the morning partake of joyful mental purification in their daily study of the weekly Lesson-Sermon as provided by the Christian Science Quarterly. This study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, provides the cleansing spiritual inspiration necessary to purify thought.
Science and Health states: "If the disciple is advancing spiritually, he is striving to enter in. He constantly turns away from material sense, and looks towards the imperishable things of Spirit. If honest, he will be in earnest from the start, and gain a little each day in the right direction, till at last he finishes his course with joy." Science and Health, p. 21;
