Happiness Is for You
God gives you the right to be happy. No person or group of persons can deprive you of it. No incident, accident, or circumstance can keep you from obtaining lasting happiness. These may seem like impossible statements if you are unfamiliar with the teachings of Christian Science, but this Science teaches what real happiness is and how you can experience it.
In Science we learn that our true selfhood is spiritual. Because man is God's expression, he represents the completeness, the allness of God. This completeness includes happiness. Happiness is a quality of Soul, God, and cannot be separated from its divine source.
Mrs. Eddy says: "Happiness is spiritual, born of Truth and Love. It is unselfish; therefore it cannot exist alone, but requires all mankind to share it." Science and Health, p. 57; God's giving is infinite impartial. Therefore we all possess the ability to perceive and experience real, lasting happiness because we are in truth perfect, harmonious reflections of Soul. This truth cannot be altered or reversed.
