Glory (Ps. 85:9)

The Hebrew word kaboth has a wide variety of expressive meanings, indicating not only "glory" but also honor, esteem, majesty; and in addition, abundance or wealth; while in poetry it is sometimes taken to mean person or soul. In the present context Moffatt suggests, "Till his Great Presence dwells within our land."

In the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up (Ps. 5:3)
