Church Dedications
North Vernon Plain Dealer October 26, 1967
Jennings county members of the Christian Science Society will formally dedicate their new church, which is located on Oakwood Drive in North Vernon, this Sunday, October 29, in services to be held at the church.
The new structure is the first church of their own that the Christian Science Society has had in Jennings county. Under the rules of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, a local church cannot be dedicated until it is totally paid for. It is a source of great satisfaction to the local members that they have their church building completely paid for in such a short time.
