I am most grateful to know an ever-present good and loving God...

I am most grateful to know an ever-present good and loving God and for His sentinels of love, Christ Jesus and Mary Baker Eddy, who have brought us the truth and pointed the way. I should like to add my gratitude for Christian Science and thank all the loyal workers in churches and societies around the world, especially in far-off, out-of-the-way places. In my travels I have always found a loving welcome and felt at home in gatherings of Christian Science students everywhere. Science has always met my needs.

In the past ten years, with the help of a kind and dedicated practitioner, I have been healed of a rather alarming growth on the body. A harmonious change in employment and home has been made, and more recently the results of a car accident have been resolved through holding to Truth and Principle. These evidences of God's care came to fulfillment after steadfast and persistent prayerful work in Christian Science had been maintained, and I am grateful each one has meant progress.

At one time a car door was slammed on four fingers of my hand. When my friends discovered my plight, they were quite concerned and alarmed. However, after a few minutes I was able to drive home. The next morning my friends were surprised to find me at work typing, writing, and using my hand as usual. Although the fingers were apparently flat the night before, there was never any pain or adverse aftereffects.
