I should like to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me. When this religion was first presented to me, its revelation of man's spiritual individuality impressed me. I needed much mental straightening out but did not know how to achieve it. I remember once walking across a street where a policeman was conducting the traffic and feeling that really I needed a mental policeman.

I was filled with awe when finally introduced to a Christian Science practitioner. I could not believe that there were truly people in this world consecrated enough to give their whole life to the ministry of helping others through prayer. This Science teaches that the law of God reaches human consciousness through prayer and in this way corrects human thought and heals bodily ills.

At that time I was living in Geneva, Switzerland, and with the help of this dear practitioner my desire to return to the United States, which I had visited before, became reality.
