I have been a student of Christian Science for many years. My appreciation for Mrs. Eddy is boundless. She gave us the writings that help to make the Bible promises so practical that we can heal ourselves and others. This is surely being done. Mrs. Eddy must have realized it would take centuries for the world to be awakened. In her poem "Satisfied" we read (Poems, p. 79):

The centuries break, the earth-bound wake,
God's glorified!
