A College Student Writes
Meeting an Identity Crisis
At some point in our college experience we must meet head on these questions: Who am I? What is my purpose in life? Psychologists call this time an identity crisis.
And no wonder the student sometimes seems confused and tortured with self-doubt, for he is facing a maze of conflicting human ideologies or philosophies that challenge him to reexamine his own values and his concept of himself. But this experience need not be a frightening one that threatens loss of identity.
Christian Science shows the individual how to find and appreciate his own identity. It helps him find stability and lasting security. This security stems from an understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him.
