This testimony is long overdue, but I am grateful for the opportunity to offer it now.

I came into Christian Science seeking the truth. When I was about ten, we lived near an aunt who was a Christian Scientist, and I looked forward eagerly to reading the Sentinel at her home. Although my mother did not become a student of Christian Science until her later years, she always encouraged us children to study and use Christian Science.

During those early years I had attended all the churches in the neighborhood. Some years later my aunt enrolled my sister and me in a Christian Science Sunday School quite a number of miles away. Then I knew I had found my church home. From that time I attended many lectures with my aunt and spent many spare hours in the Reading Rooms. I am deeply grateful to for the guidance of those early years.
